Story Behind the Invention

Inventor John Semler of Sparks, NV has created an innovative new vehicle multi-tool!

All trucks have one thing in common: they are mechanical devices. They are all subject to wear and tear, breakdowns, and maintenance requirements. This used to mean having a bunch of tools and devices around in the event something went wrong. Not only was this inconvenient, it was costly. John just knew there had to be a better way. His first design was a jack handle with the end cut off and ground down to fit in the chain cam to tighten the chain. After taking a look, his friend suggested he get a patent. However, John thought he could improve on the idea. After working at it some more, he developed what is now known as the Trucker Multi Tool!

The invention puts chains on tightly, so they arent lost, pulls the fifth wheel, takes chain pieces out of a tire, and pries out nails. It can also be used to thump tires to check if they are flat or low on air. In addition, the multi tool will pry out a trailer valve when frozen.
