Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Gregg Druxman of Canada is thrilled to introduce his invention, The Original Lily Leash!™

This premium leash boasts a patented control grip handle that slides along its length. With a gentle squeeze, the handle functions as a brake anywhere on the leash, allowing you to easily manage your pet while preventing hand injuries such as cuts, blisters, and friction burns. The leash also features a comfortable neoprene-lined loop handle, double-sided reflective striping for increased safety, and a heavy-duty swivel hook with a tensile strength of 150 pounds.

The inspiration for this innovation came from his experience with Lily, his American Boxer. When Lily joined his family, her high energy and excitability made it clear that a common leash would not suffice. Despite extensive research, Gregg could not find a fitting solution. He noticed that many other pet owners faced similar struggles, too. They dealt with twisted leashes, or had leashes wrapped around their hands, which caused rope burns, hand injuries, and cuts. In turn, Gregg was inspired to develop The Original Lily Leash!™

But how does it work? A quick squeeze of the flexible handle instantly engages the brake mechanism at any point along the leash, providing you with exceptional control over the slack to keep your pet close. Additionally, the control grip handle is made from 100% FDA-approved, food-grade silicone, ensuring it is non-toxic and anti-microbial for added peace of mind.
