Inventor Meck Saxon of Irving, TX has designed a lock that will prevent any unauthorized individual from opening your door... even if they have a key! Recent events throughout our country leave many questioning their safety. The marketplace has responded with a variety of products that are intended to protect ones life and property. One commonly used product, especially in high-crime areas, is the deadbolt lock. While deadbolt locks prevent door kick ins, they present only a minor delay to a thief that has a key or a lock picking set. As such, the market has responded with mechanisms that attach to the inside of the door and prevent a deadbolt lock handle from turning. However, these mechanisms must be permanently attached to the door and are not commonly used in houses, apartments, hotel rooms, or inside rooms such as a bedroom. Meck just knew there had to be a better way. In turn, he developed The MeckLock! The invention provides an easy and secure way to protect your locks. Its main purpose is to prevent unauthorized entry. It also works well for loved ones who require a more preventative environment. The invention covers a doorknob and/or deadbolt lock and is very easy to install. With the invention in place, the knob will not turn, nor can the lock be picked with a screwdriver or drill.
