Story Behind the Invention

Inventors Andrew P. Martin of Nineveh, IN and Gary R. Martin of Indianapolis, IN have created a right-angle drill adapter for drilling in confined or angled locations without difficulty.

When drilling, some locations do not allow for both the drill bit and the drill body to be present. While right angle drills help somewhat in this regard, they are limited in size and can only be used with light duty (low horsepower) drills. Should higher horsepower drills be used, the right-angle adapter can be destroyed. Plus, the overall offset or distance between the input and output shafts can be somewhat limited. Andrew and Gary just knew there had to be a better way. In turn, they developed the The Martin Arm!

The invention features a rotatable handle for right-handed and left-handed use. Built like an industrial drill, this robust tool can get the job done just as effectively as a heavy-duty drill. The adapter has been successfully tested and now it is ready for market!
