Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Thomas E. Olsen of Pauls Valley, OK has created an innovative new gate stabilizer.

While working for the highway department, Thomas noticed all the gates around construction sites that would swing into vehicles, semis, and tractors. Although he would try propping them open or tying them up, the gates would still swing open and cause damage. He just knew there had to be a better way to stop this unwanted swinging. In turn, he was inspired to develop Olsens Gate Prop Pro!

The invention simply attaches to one of the pipes on a gate by a closing clamp mechanism. The invention is then stuck into the ground to hold the gate open. This will prevent any unwanted swinging and associated damage. When the gate is shut and not in use, the invention will fold up discreetly against the gate itself until needed again. It can be used on gates of various heights and sizes.
