Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Joyce E. O'Kusky of Witherbee, NY has designed a clip that fastens an oxygen hose to ones side, so its not in the way and liable to cause a trip and fall.

When OKusky first started using oxygen, she quickly learned to watch out for the hose at all times. With it positioned in front of her, it was likely to make her trip or even fall and break a bone! She tried using duct tape to keep the hose attached to her side and out of the way, but this quick fix was rather annoying and needed constant adjustment. OKusky just knew there had to be a better way! In turn, she designed the O2 Safety Clip!

Users will attach the clip to their hose approximately 22-24 inches from the neck connection and simply connect the clip to the side of their shirt. Its that easy! The hose will now be on the side, making it safer and more convenient to go about ones day.
