Story Behind the Invention

Inventor and veteran, Robert D. Schultz, of St. George, UT has created an easy-to-use system for loading mobile scooters in and out of any vehicle.

While mobile scooters are ideal for use in and around a residence, many wish to travel with them, which means transporting them in a vehicle. Unfortunately, they are very heavy and even those in prime physical condition can have difficulty lifting them in and out of a vehicle. Plus, taking a scooter apart, putting it in a vehicle, and then taking it out at your destination and rebuilding it can be more trouble than its worth. Robert just knew there had to be a better way. In turn, he was inspired to develop the Mobility Scooter Lift n Slide!

The invention features a battery-operated retractable lift system that extends and slides out of the vehicle to assist in the load-in/load-out process. Simply install the unit in the vehicles cargo area. Hook the winch cable hook to the front of the scooter. Remove the hook and repeat the process to lift the back of the scooter and slide it in. With the Lift n' Slide, you can now travel with your mobility scooter whenever you want!
