Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Brian Santini of Pompton Plains, NJ has created an inflatable band for administering heat or cold therapy in an easy and convenient manner.

If you are experiencing pain, applying heat or cold directly to the area, along with mild pressure, can help. However, keeping the temperature source properly applied to the affected area can be tough. It can be even more difficult to administer heat or cold therapy while in motion, as the temperature source is likely to dislodge as you move. As a chronic migraine sufferer, Brian just knew there had to be another way other than balancing or awkwardly strapping cold packs to his head. In turn, he was inspired to develop the Inflatable Band for Pain Therapy!

The invention is an inflatable therapy band with multiple pockets for ice or heat therapy packs and an inflatable bladder to keep the packs in position while simultaneously applying a soothing amount of pressure. Simply attach the adjustable band around the part of your body that needs pain relief. Then attach the hand pump to the valve and pump up the device to your desired level of pressure before detaching the pump. It is that easy!
