Story Behind the Invention

Inventor James I. Myers, a chemical engineer from Loudon, TN has created a caddy that will ease the movement of refuse bins and recycle boxes from a garage to a pickup point.

Taking out the trash is always an inconvenience. Large trash containers must be moved or rolled to the curb for pickup. While many communities have adopted large wheeled refuse bins that aid in this process, driveway inclines or inclement weather still make the task difficult for many. A lot of communities also require recycling bins that must be carried to and from the collection point, resulting in many trips. Inventor Myers lives in a house with a five-degree sloped driveway and maneuvering the 92-gallon trash container to the curb was never easy. In turn, he was inspired to create the Hill Tamer.

This clever new invention is portable. Users will now be able to move bins in one trip. The invention reduces theft since bins wont have to be placed permanently at the curb. It runs on rechargeable battery. While convenient for everyone, this product is ideal for those with physical limitations. Taking out the trash has never been easier!
