Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Patti Graf of Miden, NV has specially designed a decorative cover to hide a thermostat.

The idea was born while restoring a home circa 1900s. Patti wanted modern conveniences but didnt like the appearance of a modern thermostat on the wall. She searched the internet for another option but could not find what she wanted. Not wanting to take away from the aesthetic of the home, she decided to take matters into her own hands and create Control Cover Designs!

Each model fits over a wall thermostat and features a front cover plate that provides easy access to the thermostat unit. The cover plate is hinged at the bottom with magnets to keep it closed. It can also be locked, if desired. An open area at the top and bottom has been designed for ample air flow. The top plate is large enough to accommodate a candle, picture frame, vase, or a similar decorative item. Various finishes are possible to fit the style of any room.
