Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Amy Feile of St. Marys, PA has created a new tabletop appliance with an integrated refrigeration system. Now cold food will stay chilled all day no ice required!

Keeping food dishes at the proper temperature is not just about taste, it is a matter of food safety. Amys invention was born one day while setting up a buffet table and putting ice cubes into a bowl for the thousandth time. Amy audibly sighed. She was tired of handling all the ice, but it was a must in order to keep the cold food dishes from getting warm. She just knew there had to be a better way! In turn, she took matters into her own hands and developed the Chill Crock!

A user will simply fill the removable crock with food that needs to stay chilled, such as potato salad, macaroni salad, desserts, or other cold food dishes. They will then plug it in, set a cool temperature, and forget it. The invention will keep the food cold for an entire picnic day. Family or guests can come back for seconds at any time. This will be a must-have for all potlucks, picnics, parties, or catered functions! After use, the crock is easy to clean and dishwasher safe.
