Story Behind the Invention

Inventors Edward Cosgrave and Ryan Stock of Valdez, AK have created a special aluminum foil bag for cooking over hot coals on a barbeque grill, fire, or oven.

While camping, at a picnic, or just hanging out on the patio in the backyard, a great deal of time is spent cooking food. This often involves complicated grills, multiple utensils, pans and dishes, and more. Not to mention there is the time consuming post meal cleanup. In turn, many resort to simply preparing, cooking and eating their food from a pouch made of aluminum foil. While this is a good concept, especially when camping in wilderness locations, the pouches tend to leak or fall apart, especially when handled and turned over due to their open, non-sealed nature. As a chef for 28 years, Inventor Cosgrave wanted to create a product that would make cooking easier for anyone, anywhere. With the help of co-inventor Stock, the idea for the BBQ Camp Tiger Cooking Bag was born!

This clever new invention is made of heavy duty aluminum foil. It holds an entire meal including meat, poultry, or fish, along with a vegetable, seasoning and spices. The bag can withstand high heat. Vent holes release steam as the food cooks over the hot coals. Once removed from the coals, the meal can be eaten directly from the cooking bag, if desired. When finished, the bag can simply be crumpled up and discarded. This makes it incredibly useful while camping, hiking, or even outdoors at home.
