Story Behind the Invention

Inventors Russell L. Campbell of Noblesville, IN and Harvey E. Campbell of Arcadia, IN have created a device to aid in the application of lotion, pharmaceutical medications, body oils, sunscreens, or other similar products to ones own back or other hard-to-reach areas.

The age-old problems associated with applying lotion and like products to ones back has never really been solved. Long-handled scrub brushes are an option, but they are often difficult to use and ineffective. Coverage of the back region is difficult and usually impossible without the aid of another person. As a result, many go without cleansing their back or applying lotion or medications to the detriment of their skin and general health. In turn, Inventors Campbell were inspired to create the Back and Body Smoother!

This clever new invention features an easy grip ergonomic handle. A foam applicator pad spreads the lotion, oil, soap, etc. evenly. These pads can be removed for washing or replacement. While this device is especially great for the elderly or disabled, everyone will find them super convenient. The product is easy to manufacture.
