Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Ruth J. Pulver of Fort Wayne, IN has created a game similar to Scrabble or Words with Friends, but tiles are able to be moved in an existing word in order to insert another tile to make a new word.

Scrabble is a classic board game that has been enjoyed by adults and children alike for many years. Recently, the introduction of Words with Friends, another crossword-puzzle style game reminiscent of Scrabble has been popular for todays word game enthusiasts. While these games are different, neither game allows players to move tiles once they are in play. Inventor Pulver has put a twist on the beloved games by introducing a word building game that allows tiles to be moved on the board to create new words.

This clever new invention is for 2-4 players. It is for ages 8 and up. In this game, the game board tiles can be moved. The highest score wins. No assembly is required. Word Play provides endless hours of word building fun for children and adults.
