Story Behind the Invention
Inventor Brenda M. Leonard of Millbury, MA has developed a unique way for beachgoers to securely conceal their personal items.
Wireless communication devices such as cellular phones, MP3 players, personal media players, and personal digital assistants (PDAs) have become incredibly popular in recent years. Just about everyone, including young children, has one or more electronic devices on them at all times. Unfortunately, should they come in contact with water, they are immediately rendered useless. This is particularly ironic as their tasks of providing communication and entertainment is most likely to be needed in a secluded area, such as while on a boat, relaxing pool side, or while at a beach. Inventor Leonard has created a means by which one can safely use their personal electronics near water.
This clever new invention is waterproof to prevent damage to valuable electronics and has a foam insert to further secure the items. For the users convenience, a pager-like remote speaker and a corresponding transmitter inside the invention are included to inform the user when the device is ringing or otherwise alerting. Also, the invention comes in various decorative themes to suit the users tastes. The use of the Waterproof Electronics Container allows one to quickly and easily store and transport cellular phones and other personal electronics near water.
