Story Behind the Invention

A common sight on the roofs of buildings or homes is that of the vent line for the sanitary piping system. Such vent lines allow for the introduction or removal of air to aid in sewage transfer within the piping system. However, the interior of the pipe is completely open to the environment, permitting any foreign object or material to enter; such as, twigs, leaves, trash, or even small animals. Accumulation of materials within the vent can cause operation to cease resulting in piping backups and flooding. Inventor Souza has created a means by which foreign material can be kept out of sanitary pipe vents to eliminate the problems as described above.

This clever new invention eliminates sanitary plumbing problems and keeps excess water out of sewers. The tapered cap design simply attaches with a bracket and is removable. The use of the Vent Pipe Cap ensures that foreign material can be kept out of a roof piping vent which will prevent internal water damage and promote positive airflow.
