Story Behind the Invention

Inventor James E. Kirkland, Jr. of Simpsonville, SC has created a protective steel guard for a radiator on an all-terrain vehicle or utility vehicle.

Inventor Kirkland was inspired to create the UTV Grille while riding his RZR 800. He was riding in the woods when a dead branch went through the factory front grille piece, hit the radiator, and bent the fins. At first glance it appeared to have punctured the radiator; however, it only damaged the fins. Inventor Kirkland knew he was lucky and there needed to be something to protect the radiator from further damage. Not only is damage like this very costly to repair, it also may leave a rider stranded in a remote location, thus impacting their safety.

This clever new invention provides enhanced performance over factory supplied grilles. The guard installs in seconds. It allows for nearly unrestricted air flow. It will not affect vehicle operation. It is designed to be hidden so it wont take away from the look of a vehicle. Multiple styles and versions are available for all makes and models of ATVs and UTVs.
