Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Kimberly A. Smith of San Mateo, CA has created a hooded sweatshirt with special features to allow for the easy and safe utilization of audio entertainment devices.

Many people take smart phones, iPods, and other portable MP3 players with them everywhere they go.Due to the personal nature of such device, the only way to conveniently listen to them is through headphones. However, the headphone wiring is always prone to becoming tangled, snagged, or even ripped out of ones ears. These problems are particularly bothersome when performing exercise routines, riding a bike, running, or walking. Inventor Smith has created a means by which a headphone wiring from cell phones, and other personal electronic devices can be easily protected.

This clever new invention has two front-mounted, top-opening pockets. A person can easily thread the headphones from their device, located in a pocket, up through the interior of the sweatshirt. The invention reduces the danger of a device falling out of a pocket. It helps eliminate snagging of headphone wiring while running or performing exercise routines. It is for men, women, teens, and children. The use of the Upper Body Garment with Top Open Pockets and Internal Loop Guides allows users to enjoy electronic devices with headphones, without worry of becoming entangled in the headphone wiring.
