Story Behind the Invention
Inventor Emily Arndt of Lakewood, CO has created a clever new storage solution for play guns and ammo.
When her boys were 4 and 5 years old, there would be play guns and bullets all over the house. Emily thought it would be a great idea for her sons to have their own gun safe, just like their dad. After all, children learn by example. Not only would it teach them about organization, it would promote gun safety. With so many gun issues going on in our world, there has never been a better time to promote this!
With the Toy Gun Safe, kids will learn to respect their toy guns and ammo by putting them in a safe place once they are done playing with them. No longer will NERF guns and foam bullets be all over the house at the end of the day. No longer will you have to repurchase bullets when your child loses them either! All toy guns, accessories, or other special items can now be stored in one convenient space. The invention also promotes gun safety. A passcode box will allow a child to choose their own code in order to get into the safe. The front door has a battery-operated LED light. Also included are a book of stickers so a child can personalize their safe and a gun safety booklet written in a childs vocabulary.
