Story Behind the Invention
Inventor Dana Joseph of Crane, MO has created an electric kitchen appliance for keeping food cold.
During events like pot lucks, everyone tends to focus on the food items that need to stay warm but cold foods require temperature control, too. Cold foods may include mayonnaise as an ingredient like in potato salad, macaroni salad, and coleslaw. Fruit salads or salad dressings and dips are also susceptible to bacterial contamination that can result in guests becoming ill from food poisoning. Inventor Joseph has many large family gatherings on a regular basis and without fail, the cold food is no longer cold, or it has once again been forgotten in the fridge. She knew there had to be a better way. In turn, she created the Total Crock!
While similar in concept to a slow cooker, this clever new invention is an innovative food chiller! It prevents foodborne contamination. Its portable so it will be extremely convenient for use at pot lucks, barbeques, catered functions, and more. The device is great for main dishes, sides, dips, and desserts. Multiple sizes are possible.
