Story Behind the Invention

Inventor George A. Crockett, Jr. of Winchester, CA, has developed a clever innovation that is a mesh-lined basket apparatus designed to fry tacos, with or without fillings, inside a frying pan, one side at-a-time.

The Taco Mold is a combined fry basket and mold designed for use with uncooked tortillas. It is supplied with a clamp to hold two molds together. A handle is provided for safe and easy insertion and removal from the stove. The handle is also moveable, thus assuring that the taco is evenly cooked every time. It is suitable for both commercial and home use.
