Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Gregory B. McEachern of Abilene, TX has created a windshield wiper blade with an integral scrubbing-based textile, to aid in removing bugs, and other matter from the windshield.

Maintaining a clean automobile windshield is a necessary step in ensuring driving safety. While common windshield wipers aid with rain and snow, windshield debris, such as splattered bugs, bird droppings, ice, frost, and the like, generally require manual scrubbing with a nylon type scrubbing pad. Individuals are often forced to stop at gas stations to rid their windshields of bugs. This is not only an inconvenience, but a safety factor as well, since bugs will immediately begin to accumulate again once driving resumes. Inventor McEachern has created a means by which motorists can maintain a windshield free from bugs, bird droppings, and similar matter, without manually scrubbing the windshield.

This clever new invention requires no manual scrubbing. It easily attaches to all wiper arms and cleans in both directions. It can be used with almost any vehicle and enhances driving safety. The use of the Squeegee Windshield Wiper allows drivers to be assured of a clean windshield at all times without stopping to manually scrub the windshield, in a manner which is quick, easy, and effective.
