Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Timothy Bailey of Bridge City, TX has created a tool to remove a socket from a spark plug or other fastener jammed within the socket. The idea was born when Inventor Bailey was changing the spark plugs on his daughters vehicle and the socket jammed into the spark plug tube. He spent the following two days extremely frustrated while trying everything he could to remove the socket. Inventor Bailey searched the internet and called auto stores in search of a solution. Although he came up empty-handed, he did notice a lot of other people were complaining about having the same issue, too. After making some modifications to a long landscaping nail, he was able to pull the socket out. Shortly after, the Spark Plug Socket Remover was invented. This clever new invention allows one to easily pull out a socket. It reduces frustration. It has an adjustable drive bar and comfort handle. The product is a must-have for mechanics and do-it-yourselfers.
