Inventor Gwendolyn Maynor Nesbitt of Brandywine, MD has designed a cover for a shopping cart handle to protect from unclean surfaces while shopping.The idea was born in the grocery store while washing down the cart she was about to use. Gwendolyn thought there had to be a better way to protect oneself from germs and illness. When she returned home, she started playing around with the paper towel spool and other items she had around the house. That is when the idea started taking shape. Now the Safety Cart Wand has been developed further and is ready for market!After grabbing a cart, just pinch each end of the cart cover and place it over the grocery cart handle. This item will fit on any standard shopping cart. No longer will you need to wash the handle down.
