Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Jesse Rovinelli of Sudbury, ON has developed a portable warning system with interchangeable signs to alert people of a potential hazard or the need for assistance.

Temporary barricades are a common sight at construction sights and industrial establishments throughout the country. However, such barricades are often haphazardly constructed from various materials and components that are immediately available. Also, the signage usually consists of a quickly scratched sign that is often illegible and confusing. Accordingly, there exists a need for a means by which temporary safety barricades can be quickly and easily constructed to address the shortcomings as described above. The development of the Portable Emergency Sign System fulfills this need.

This clever new invention features a variety of heavy duty warning signs available in multiple lengths with a safety barricade chain attached. The use of the Portable Emergency Sign System provides safety workers the ability to quickly, securely, and effectively block-off unauthorized areas in a manner that is clear, understandable, and safe.
