Portable Chafing and Serving Table

Inventor Grant Melvin-John Tolentino of Kaneohe, HI has created a specialized portable table with enhanced features to facilitate food serving from chafing dishes.

During many different events, food is typically provided in chafing dishes that are in portable stands with Sterno cans underneath. However, the chafing dishes and stands may slide about, and even fall off of the table as guests try to scoop food out. This can be messy and bothersome to clean up. Additionally, the exposed nature of the Sterno cans presents a fire hazard should paper napkins or other combustibles come in contact with the open flame. Inventor Tolentino has created a means for an improved serving table that eliminates these issues.

This clever new invention is ideal for catered events, parties, weddings, and the like. The table top is provided with four large rectangular openings for standard chafing dishes. The heating source is located below in collapsible folding fireproof mesh fabric. It is easy to clean and eliminates the use of messy aluminum foil. The device can be used as a regular table if needed. The use of the Portable Chafing and Serving Table provides for the ability to easily and quickly serve food at catered events, in a manner which is quick, easy, and effective.
