Story Behind the Invention
Inventor Dale R. Bickel, Jr. of Phillipsburg, NJ has created an elevated exterior perch that is mounted to and supported by a window, allowing a pet to enter and exit the enclosure at will.
Cats and other indoor pets love to climb to various locations where they can sit and watch daily life. One favorite location is a windowsill. Not only does looking out the window alleviate boredom in pets, it also keeps them stimulated in their indoor environments. However, most windowsills are not wide enough, nor do they provide a full field of view of the happenings on the outside of the home. Inventor Bickel has created a means by which cats, birds, and similar pets can be provided the ultimate elevated location where their curiosity is satisfied, yet they remain protected.
This clever new invention is an observation perch that provides entertainment for pets. All the while it protects them from outdoor animals and insects. It allows the pet to enter and exit without assistance. The window in use still remains functional. The invention is great for cats, birds, or similar pets. The use of the Pet Freedom Deck provides a unique perch that provides complete protection for a pet and its owners.
