Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Frank M. Civale of Naples, FL has created an apparatus that helps reduce odors, insect infestations, and rodent infestations around garbage dumpsters.

Trash dumpsters are periodically emptied on a daily or weekly basis. Unfortunately, even with dumpsters that are emptied frequently, they become a favorite place for insects, flies, ants, mice, and other undesired pests. Perhaps even more disconcerting is the smell. Rotting meat, spoiled vegetables, waste products, and the like can be easily smelled, making people sick to their stomachs. All of these issues result in a breeding ground for germs and bacteria. With 50 million dumpsters in the United States alone, Inventor Civale was inspired to create the Odor Repelling Dumpster Attachment.

This clever new invention provides for more sanitary conditions. It reduces the spread of disease and illness. Its compartments hold various deodorizing materials, insecticides, or pesticides. The device attaches to the front of a garbage dumpster using a magnet or double sided foam tape. It finds use at dumpster storage locations, shopping centers, grocery stores, restaurants, animal stables, zoos, and more!
