Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Charles C. Buckner has created a portable antibacterial toilet seat cover that offers enhanced protection from germs, bacteria, and filth when using a public or private toilet.

Now more than ever, we must be mindful of the surfaces we touch throughout the day. Toilet seats are known to be dirty and home to germs and bacteria. Conventional paper seat covers are only offered in some public restrooms. In fact, you are lucky to find one. However, their paper-based construction leaves them prone to tearing while their permeable nature allows wetness and other undesirables to transfer through the liner. After observing some of the public toilets in Las Vegas, Charles just knew there had to be a better way. In turn, he developed My Safer Seat!

The invention allows you to sit on any toilet without sitting on the toilet. Simply remove the toilet seat cover from its pouch, unfold it, and place it on a toilet seat using the touching tabs. When unfolded, it is the same overall size of a conventional toilet seat. After use, it folds up so it can be placed back into the pouch and then discretely put in a pocket or purse without notice. It is then able to be washed and reused over and over.
