Story Behind the Invention
Inventor Robert Hagen, an electrician from Warwick, RI has created an apparatus to assist in the pulling of MC type cable into drop ceiling cavities.
One task common to the electrical field is that of pulling MC cable (metal clad cable) into drop ceiling cavities. During a typical installation, the wire spool containing the cable is located upon a floor while the end of the cable is connected to a fish tape which has been routed through the ceiling. Should someone not be present at the opposite end of the fish tape, the weight of the cable will pull the fish tape through the ceiling cavity. Now the whole process must start all over again! Additionally, the corrugated nature of the MC cable is prone to becoming caught on the drop ceiling components as it enters and exits the ceiling cavity. This means that multiple people are usually required when it should be a simple one-person job. In turn, Inventor Hagen was inspired to create the MC Wire Pulling Device for Drop Ceiling!
This clever new invention ensures that cable can be pulled on the first try. Only one person is needed. This saves time and money. The device easily installs and removes in seconds. It is truly a must-have for electricians. To learn more or for manufacturing, retail, wholesale, distribution, or licensing opportunities act now!
