Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Mark A. Reynolds of Interlochen, MI has developed a snow plow with multiple horizontal slats for directing air flow to the radiator while driving.

Snow plow operators face multiple challenges while performing their job. The position of the plow when not in use forms a perfect barrier in front of the radiator, possibly causing overheating problems. Accordingly, there exists a need for a means by which snow plows can address the disadvantages and their associated costs as addressed above. The development of the Louver-Designed Snow Plow fulfills this need.

This clever new invention features three individual tilted plates that are welded to the common frame which reduces wind resistance. The use of the Louvered Design Snow Plow improves fuel economy, and improves engine cooling while driving.
