Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Jeffrey M. Murphy of Maple Ridge, BC has created a two piece barbeque grill cover.

Whether it is a family gathering, a picnic, or a cookout, a great deal of time is spent around a barbeque grill. Many people protect their barbecue grills from environmental damage with the use of a canvas or vinyl cover. While such covers do extend the life of a typical grill, they are not without their disadvantages. First, the large covers are extremely difficult to apply and remove every time use of the grill is required. Second, there is often not a suitable storage place for the grill cover when it is not on the grill, and these covers may even blow away forcing a costly replacement. Finally, the entire cover must be removed as a unit only if access to the upper portion of the grill is required. Inventor Murphy has created a means by which environmental protection for barbeque grills can be provided without these issues.

This clever new invention is a two-part design. It extends the life of a grill. It is easy to apply and remove. It is available in multiple sizes and styles. The invention is easy to manufacture. The use of the Free Standing Barbeque Grill Cover Set allows for environmental protection of outdoor barbecue grills, in a manner which is quick, easy, and effective.
