Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Walter Chowanec of Jersey City, NJ has created a childs game using the method of forming fishing lines from the weaving of small elasticized bands using a fishtail pattern. A magnet is attached to an end of the fishing line and held over a game mat of fish-shaped playing pieces. The fish are caught by the players using the fishing lines.

The idea for the Fishloom Game came to Inventor Chowanec while watching his kids play with the popular Rainbow Loom. He then devised a fishing game similar to those played on the boardwalk at the Jersey Shore.

This clever new invention is an amusing game for children. Catch all your fish in one minute to win. Kids will love the fun aquatic mat and fish pieces. The game is easy to manufacture. It is for ages 3 and up. The Fishloom Game is a simple idea that has captured the attention of Inventor Chowanecs children and is sure to delight others as well!
