Story Behind the Invention
Inventor Eric Tumamao of Lihue, HI has created an apparatus to aid in the assembly and construction of a vinyl fence.
A fence not only enhances the aesthetic beauty of a home and its landscaping, but also serves as a boundary for children and pets, and acts as a deterrent for trespassers. Vinyl fences are a popular favorite. Available in a variety of styles, the vinyl fence offers the owner a cost effective, quality structure that will endure years of service with little to no maintenance. However, construction of the typical vinyl fence is very labor intensive. Much time can be spent measuring and re-measuring before making a cut to ensure that it is straight. Additionally, it is somewhat difficult to determine where the connectors need to be when attaching each panel. Inventor Tumamao has created a means by which vinyl fences can be more easily constructed.
This clever new invention helps cut and install vinyl fence panels. The device has multiple guide grooves, lines, and openings for easy use. Its straight edge allows for perfect cuts. It is strong and durable. It is ideal for the professional fencing contractor or do-it-yourselfer. The use of the Fence Panel Jig helps assemble and construct vinyl fences in a manner which is not only quick, easy, and effective, but allows the fences to remain in good condition for years.
