Story Behind the Invention
Inventor Davide A. Daros of Ottawa, ON has designed a universal expandable drawer system that provides increased storage space in a wide variety of areas.
Modern day kitchens are provided with an abundance of storage space, including convenient accessories such as sliding shelves, turntables, and specialty drawers. However, much of the space access is acquired through the use of customized cabinetry and while beautiful to look at, such cabinetry can cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars just to access a few additional inches of space. Much of this additional cost comes from the construction of a specialized drawer system; as such systems often require separate setups just to produce a few drawers of a custom width. Inventor Daros has created a means by which customized width drawres can be easily and quickly constructed without the cost of custom cabinetry work.
This clever new invention conveniently attaches to conventional cabinets. The sliding drawer design can fit cabinets sized from 12 to 34 inches, and fits all types of openings. Additionally, the drawer has reinforced corners to ensure a longer life. The use of the Expandable Drawer provides increased storage space in a wide variety of areas without the high cost or specialized work associated with custom-made cabinets.
