Story Behind the Invention

Inventor David Scott Hamilton of Rancho Cordova, CA has created an exercise vest for use with resistance exercise bands.

More than ever, people are frequenting health clubs and performing exercise equipment routines in order to lose weight, improve muscle tone, and maintain a healthy lifestyle. These days many people are leading a mobile lifestyle which includes frequent travel, restaurant meals, and being away from home for periods of time. Unless one should be staying at a hotel with an exercise room, it is hard to find a way to exercise other than to perhaps walk or run.Unfortunately, walking and running do very little to strengthen the arm and upper body areas. Others may be confined to a wheelchair which makes most exercise equipment unsuitable for use. Inventor Hamilton has created a means by which arm and upper body exercise routines, including those in a seated position, can be performed at almost any location, without the need for large or heavy exercise equipment.

This clever new invention functions like larger gym-based counterparts. Resistance bands attach to 8 “D” rings. It is great for exercising, conditioning, and rehabilitation. Vest pockets increase its functionality. It is perfect for use in the home, hotels, and offices. The use of the Exercise Vest with Stretch Cord Attachment Means allows users the capability to perform upper body and arm exercises at virtually any location, in a manner which is not only quick, easy, and effective, but performed with a minimal amount of equipment as well.
