Inventors Doug J. Breza and Dawn Donegan of Bullhead City, AZ have created a bat storage bag with special features to allow for solar heating of the enclosed baseball or softball bats.
Baseball has remained one of the most popular sports in the world today. However, the game is not always played in warm summertime weather. Many games take place in chilly spring weather, or even the fall season. Batters striking a baseball or softball with a cold bat quickly realize the effects of the cold temperature. Bats are much more susceptible to damage or breakage in cold weather. Batters may also experience a painful sting in their hands when striking a ball with a cold bat. Additionally, a ball struck with a cold bat does not fly as fast or far as a ball struck with a warm bat. Inventor Breza has created a means by which bats can be kept at a warm temperature, regardless of outdoor temperatures.
This clever new invention heats bats via solar energy. Balls fly faster and further. It takes the sting out of hands when hitting a ball. It prevents damage to bats. It holds two to three bats. The use of the Baseball and Softball Bat Bag with Reflective Heating provides a means of passively heating a bat to improve its performance, in a manner which is quick, easy, and effective.
