Story Behind the Invention
Inventor William B. Thomasson of Charelston, IN has created a game played the same as darts, except corn bags are thrown instead of darts, into holes instead of the board.
The game of darts and the game of cornhole are both beloved throwing games that have gained popularity throughout the years. These games are particularly popular during parties and other social gatherings. Cornhole has become popular within the last decade. It is popular for many reasons such as simple rules, the ability for almost anyone to play, and the low cost of equipment. Some find cornhole to be easier on the body to play; especially for those suffering from arthritis or similar ailments which throwing darts can agitate. Inventor Thomasson has created a means to combine aspects from both games into a new game for the enjoyment of children and adults.
This clever new invention has the same rules and regulations as darts. There can be 1-4 players or 4 teams of 2 players. The game comes with 8 bags and a cornhole dart board. No assembly is required. It is for ages 6 and up. The use of the Cornhole Dartboard Game provides a unique twist to the games of darts and cornhole which increases the fun factor along with enjoyment of the game.
