Story Behind the Invention
Inventor David B. Canterbury of Tulsa, OK has created an add-on kit for concrete trucks that lets them also function as a concrete reclaimer.
Concrete is delivered to project sites by the use of a ready-mix concrete truck. It is often difficult to determine the exact amount needed, and no one wants to be left without enough concrete for a pour, so many trucks return to the plant with excess concrete. This concrete is then separated back out into its components by an on-site reclaimer for re-use in future concrete batches. Such reclaimers are generally expensive, require a separate power source, and are inflexible in their location of use and ability to handle multiple trucks.
Inventor Canterbury believes that the ready-mix industry has turned a blind eye to the environment and the waste of resources. Conventional reclaimers cost a lot to purchase and maintain. His invention will eliminate conventional reclaimers and help to save the planet at a cost that is easily obtained.
This clever new invention is a 2 in 1 design. It allows concrete to be reclaimed anywhere. Its a green product. The device saves time and money. It is strong and durable. The use of the Concrete Recycling Method provides an alternate method of reclaiming concrete directly from a mixer truck in a manner which is quick, easy, and effective.
