Inventor Pamela Beverly of St. Paul, MN has created a new electronic pet toy to exercise and keep a pet occupied, while discouraging destructive behaviors.

Acknowledging the undeniable truth that pets crave more than just their basic necessities, Beverly developed a device to keep them entertained and physically active, even in the absence of their owners. Cat-A-Size, an electronic toy, addresses the emotional needs of pets by providing stimulation and exercise, thereby preventing boredom and discouraging destructive behaviors.

But how does it work? The invention projects captivating, colorful, moving laser images onto the floor and surrounding surfaces. It is equipped with an on/off switch, a Bluetooth transmitter, a Wi-Fi transmitter, a motion sensor, camera, and a remote control. A user can also control the device remotely via smartphone app and interact with their pet from afar using the built-in camera. Additionally, there is the option to set up a timer to activate the toy at specific times, ensuring a pet is entertained - even when an owner is not around! The invention is powered by rechargeable batteries that are charged via a USB port and cable.
