Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Brian S. Condie of Aurora, CO has created a clamp designed to secure a wide range of items, from sporting goods to gardening tools and more!

The idea was born after Brian constructed several ramps for RC cars that weighed up to 20 pounds and reached speeds of 80 mph. He then developed a ramp that could be both assembled and disassembled in under a minute and would conveniently fit into a three-foot duffle bag. The challenge he encountered was how to lock and unlock the ramp pieces without drilling holes. After searching extensively for a clamp that was both strong and flat on one side, he found that nobody offered the product he needed. In turn, Brian used his CAD software to design the precise clamp he envisioned, which proved to be highly versatile for multiple uses. Now, the Cargo Clamp has been further developed and is ready for market!
