Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Jessie Mazur of Oroville, CA has developed a clever and user-friendly device for cleaning paintbrushes.

The idea was born out of Jessie's frustration with frequently having to buy new paintbrushes due to improper cleaning or oversight by him or his team. Determined to find a solution, he created a way to keep brushes upright in water, eliminating the need for 20-minutes with the hose that wasted 20 gallons of water and valuable time. In turn, he devised the Brush Saver!

But how does it work? With its unique plastic frame that holds paintbrushes in a vertical position, the device ensures thorough cleaning and proper drying without compromising the shape or integrity of the bristles. This innovative design, equipped with two bolts and wing nuts, secures your brushes, while positioning it over an open pail of any size lets water gently wash away any leftover paint. This keeps the bristles moist and straight and prevents them from drying out and hardening. Not only will this save precious time and money by reducing the need for frequent brush replacements, it also conserves water, aligning with eco-friendly practices.
