Story Behind the Invention
Inventors Jason G. Fulton and Douglas Hillius of Kirkland, WA have created a large blanket with integrated back support and other enhanced features for use outdoors.
There is nothing better than a warm summer day at a park, beach, an outdoor concert, or other similar outdoor location. While at such locations, many people usually lie upon a large blanket. Blankets help to insulate them from the ground, and keep the user clean and comfortable. However, these conventional blankets provide no means of allowing the user to sit up. Therefore they must bring along a chair which is heavy and bulky to transport. Inventors Fulton and Hilius have created a means for an improved outdoor blanket.
This clever new invention allows users to eat, read, relax, and watch kids comfortably. It has an adjustable angle of incline from lying down to sitting up. It is waterproof in design. The invention has a built in cooler, speakers that connect to a portable media player, and cup holders. The device is easy to pack, unpack, and store. The use of the Blanket with Built-in Backrest and Accessories provides users of blankets at outdoor events customizable back support along with other comforts in a manner which is quick, easy, and effective.
