Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Michael J. Wolak of Brighton, MI has created a portable laptop support stand for field work.

Michael had been working in the field of programming for many years. One day, he happened to be programming a control panel where he had no proper, safe place to set down his laptop in order to comfortably complete the job. He needed to find a way to hold his laptop and use it at the same time. Working on site was extremely difficult, as he would have to hold the laptop in one hand and navigate, plus type on it at the same time. The task became taxing on him. Most of his programming time on site took more than 15 minutes to ensure that everything was functioning properly. Furthermore, Michael knew that this is a type of job which requires intricate focus to detail, which cannot be attained when you are trying to balance your laptop and work at the same time. Bearing these facts in mind, he just knew there had to be a better solution. In turn, he was inspired to develop the Bandit Laptop Stand!

This amazing invention allows the user to set up the laptop to their specified convenience on site. The stand is compact and easily transportable since it is made of lightweight materials that are strong and durable. All parts needed for the mounting options are stored conveniently on the bottom of the stand. The stand can be used on network racks, panel enclosures, lifts, ladders, metal stud walls -- ANYWHERE out in field you can attach it!
