Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Jean Murdock of London, AR has created an ointment applicator with a unique J-shaped arm design for accessing those hard-to-reach areas of the body.

The idea was born after Jean broke her neck and could not reach to put the prescribed pain ointment on her back. She knew this was a real problem, especially for those living alone. Thinking further, she remembered being a young mother applying sunscreen on her children and not being able to reach her own back. And so, she would get burned and then be unable to put aloe lotion on her back. Jean just knew there had to be a better way. The Accessible Adaptive Applicator is her solution.

The invention allows for easy maneuvering and precise ointment application. It was created for use with lotion, sunscreen, a topical pain reliever, or a medical ointment.
