Inventor James R. Broom of Lady Lakes, FL has created a bottle cap with twist-off features.James recognized a need for change after observing bartenders using unsanitary rags or their t-shirt to open twist-off beers. This routine exposed customers to potential germs and bartenders to possible injury from the edge of the cap. In turn, James was inspired to develop a safer, cleaner solution called the Twist Off Cap! But how does it work? Rather than being a perfectly round and symmetrical bottle cap, 1 or 2 tabs are arranged 180 degrees apart on the outward edge of the cap. These tabs offer an additional gripping surface, as well as provide additional leverage to twist-off the cap. The device may be used with the fingers or the palm area of the hand when in a fist. Whatever position or method is used, the cap will easily open no matter the physical strength or dexterity of the user!
