Story Behind the Invention
Inventor Lynette Sublett of Stevensville, MD has created a three layer protective floor cover which is placed around the toilet base to absorb condensation, urine, and other liquids.
The battle to keep bathrooms clean and fresh smelling is an everlasting one. This is especially true in bathrooms used by men where urine frequently ends up on the floor around toilets. Such urine can be the result of a male toddler just learning how to use the toilet, an elderly male who has difficulty in controlling the urine stream, or simply from careless males. Urine must be cleaned up to prevent odors, stains, or damage to the flooring surface. However, even the most regimented housekeeping schedule is often not enough to keep up with the mess. Additionally, condensation from the toilet tank or bowl can cause many of these same problems. These messes are even worse in establishments that suffer from highly concentrated usage rates during a short period of time, such as schools, sport arenas, and rest stops. Inventor Sublett has created a means by which urine, water, and other messes can be kept off the flooring surfaces surrounding toilets.
This clever new invention keeps bathroom floors clean. It can be thrown away once soiled. A decorative top layer matches dcor. An absorbent mid-layer locks in wetness and there is a waterproof base layer. The use of the Disposable Floor Protector makes it easy to keep floor surfaces around toilets free of urine, condensate water, and other liquids in a manner which is quick, easy, and effective.
