Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Michael Lawrence Peterson of Chestermere, AB has designed a product that enhances the use of an exercise ball.

More than ever, people are frequenting health clubs and performing exercise routines at home in order to lose weight, improve muscle tone, and maintain a healthy lifestyle. One popular exercise device found in many homes and gyms is that of the exercise ball. It is commonly used to strengthen core body muscles, and does this by using the instability of the ball to force the user to remain balanced. However, the round nature of the ball poses several problems. First, the ball tends to move about on the floor during use. This requires the user to brace it against an unmovable object. Second, depending on the nature of the floor, it is difficult to gain traction with ones feet during use. Inventor Peterson has created a means by which usage of an exercise ball can be accomplished without the above disadvantages.

This clever new invention provides for a complete core workout while preventing the exercise ball from moving. It is not only portable, but also adjustable for various types of exercises. It is a great addition for any gym or home. The use of the Exercise Ball Stabilizer allows participants to perform physical workouts in a manner which is quick, easy, and effective.
