Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Thomas F. Sapienza of Oswego, IL has created a fishing lure with multiple enhancements that provides a more realistic appearance over conventional fishing lures.

The technology used by anglers to catch fish has become increasingly complex in nature. Fishermen no longer rely on the traditional hook and worm approach to attract their game. Instead, a broad range of products have hit the market designed to aid fisherman in catching fish more quickly. One of the more popular aids is that of specialized lures called spinners, which are designed to spin as they pull through the water, thus producing realistic movement and light patterns that attract fish. However, these light patterns are only visible when the bait is below the target fish, which is not a likely scenario. Additionally, there is a need for new and exciting accessories that help catch more fish. Inventor Sapienza has created a different type of fishing lure to address these needs.

This clever new invention creates the appearance of multiple fish swimming together. Various spinners are located on either side of the invention. There is reflected light on both sides of the lure. Sound and vibration attract fish. It works with all types of fish. The use of the Fishing Lure with Enhanced Reflection Means provides fishermen an increased chance of attracting various types of fish, which directly translates into a better chance of landing them as well.
