Story Behind the Invention

Inventors Randy W. Long and Ryan W. Long of Plummer, ID have created an apparatus to aid in the application of suntan lotion, medication, or other similar products to ones own back area.

While one can usually apply lotion or like products over the majority of their body, coverage of ones back region is difficult, and almost impossible without the aid of another person. As a result, those that need to apply suntan lotion are forced either to go through extreme difficulty in the application, or worse yet, they must go unprotected. Even if one does not sunbathe, the same problems with accessing ones back area exist when applying medication, lotion, or similar products. Inventors Long have developed a means by which one can apply tanning oils, lotions, soap, and medications to his/her back region and other hard-to-reach areas easily, and in a manner so as to provide complete and adequate coverage.

This clever new invention is made of soft, absorbent material. Handles allow a user to rub textile over their back. The device aids with mobility restrictions. A plastic storage container holds textile strips when not in use. It is easy to manufacture. The use of the Lotion Applicator Towel ensures easy access to all areas of ones back for lotion application, in a manner which is quick, easy, and effective.
